As surely as those things feel good to you, they feel good to others as well. And when you genuinely appreciate another, you expand your own capacity for love and joyfulness.
This week, pick a number from 10 to 20. Challenge yourself to actively express appreciation in that many different ways to that many different people, especially when you are feeling annoyed or disrespected or unappreciated. Notice how you feel each time you shift from “poor me” to authentic appreciation of someone or something else. Enjoy the empowerment of appreciation, and resolve to feel good no matter what!
